In Memory of SHEILA DUNN

It is with great sadness that ConTacts reports the death on October 24 of Sheila Dunn of Norwalk. Sheila was a regular presence at the dances for at least 14 years, where she always wore a flower in her hair and had a list of requests for the DJ to play. On the right is a picture of her from her birthday party at the Stone Barn on January 9. As always, “Tequila Sheila” was written on her birthday cake.

Sheila was a lover of country music and had a beautiful voice. In the 1980’s, after raising her family, she started her own band “Vanishing Breed”. She loved to talk politics and was a big Bernie Sanders fan. She is survived by her 3 children, a grandson, and her brother and his family. Sheila was a unique individual and a warm, lovely person who will be greatly missed.
